Georgetown Municipal Airport serves general and corporate aviation, providing full service amenities, aviation fuel, avionics sales, service, and aircraft maintenance.

U.S. Department of Transportation Travel Advisory

Airport COVID-19 Update

The Georgetown Municipal Airport remains open to pilots based at the Airport, transient pilots, and businesses operating at the Airport. All Airport staff at the Terminal and the maintenance team are working normal shifts.

Face Mask Order
The City of Georgetown has implemented a Face Mask Order.  While visiting our terminal/conference room building you will be required to wear a face mask, or remain 6′ away from all other patrons and employees.  Here is the Face Mask Order.  If you refuse to follow the City’s requirements we will ask you to leave.  If you do not leave we will then request Law Enforcement personnel to respond.
Operations at the Airport
Operations at the Airport  are not impacted by any Stay Home, Stay Safe mandates.  We will follow any and all National, State, and Local mandates as they happen.  The Federal Aviation Administration does not permit closure of the Airport or flight operations.
Terminal:
The lobby and conference room are now open.  We are staying at 5 persons per room for occupancy.  Payments are being accepted at the management offices as well.
Flight schools
Flight schools are operating as normal while following the city mask policy..
Transient pilots
The Airport is still accepting requests for tie-down, allowing pilots, passengers and visitors to access the restrooms, candy machine, and soda machine. A courtesy car available on a first-come, first-served basis. The tie-down fee structure has not changed: $5 per night with first night free and the second night free with a fuel purchase.
FBOs
FBOs or fixed-base operators (Aerojet and GTUJet) are open for business. Other business at the Airport are operating. Please contact the businesses directly if you have questions about their operations.
NOTAMs
Prior to arriving please check all NOTAMs that cover the airport. The Taxiway Lighting Project is ongoing with closures on a daily basis.
