Visiting Georgetown

The Georgetown Executive Airport (KGTU) is located in the heart of Georgetown, Texas, on the I-35 corridor linking the northern gateway Dallas/Ft. Worth with the capital of Austin and a gateway to San Antonio in the South. As the seat of Williamson County, Georgetown is located only a short distance from Austin, making itself one of the fastest-growing areas in the United States. Founded in 1845, Georgetown is home to Southwestern University, which is the oldest university west of the Mississippi. The incredible Georgetown Courthouse Square is known as one of the most beautiful of all of Texas 254 counties.

Fly-in and visit: You will be pleasantly surprised with our Texas hospitality! Bring the kids and watch the planes fly. You can see the main runway from the Airport Terminal or from the park area next to the terminal.

The staff of the Georgetown Executive Airport offers a variety of services to both the flying and non-flying public 365-days-a-year. In the Terminal Building we offer:

  • flight planning room
  • wireless internet access available
  • public lounge
  • snack and cold drink area
