Overnight Aircraft Parking

The Airport provides 11 aircraft parking spaces for the short-term visitors to Georgetown Municipal Airport.

Six (6) parking spaces are located directly in front of the Terminal on the concrete parking apron and

Five (5) parking spaces are located to the north of the concrete apron on the asphalt parking apron.

There are 33 aircraft tiedowns located to the south of the concrete parking apron in the asphalt apron. All of these tiedowns are reserved for based aircraft only and are rented by the month.

The 11 short-term tiedowns are rented for a maximum of 7 continuous days at a rental rate of $4.00 per night. Exceptions to this must be approved, in advance, by the Airport Manager.

If fuel is purchased from the City of Georgetown, a maximum of one night is free. It is important for pilots to understand that the 11 short-term tiedowns are strictly reserved for the overnight visitor to the Airport, and are not intended for any other use.

At the present time, all of the tiedowns reserved for long-term use (based aircraft) are rented and there is a waiting list for a space kept by the Airport Manager.

If anyone would like to be placed on the waiting list, have the customer leave their name & phone number (can include home, office, and cell number) with the Fuel Desk Attendant.
